I'm sure there was a time when you were stuck between a few different paths. I can't decide if i want the fast paced, good pay, job guaranteed life as a Registered Nurse where i can help people become better and learn things i really want to.
I also have a very creative side, i love art in general and i've thought for a while about being a hairdresser/esthetician. I've cut doll's hair and really thought it was something for me. I always cut my own hair aswell and i love getting my hair done/dyed. 
Problem is i don't know which way i should go? How many years for hairdressing, what's the pay like?
What would you choose/what do you think i should choose? 
Much of hairdressing/cosmetology is as much a business as it is a skill/talent. Many people that I know that do this say its very unstable. You may make lots of money one day, and none another. With all business, unless you can establish a big reputation/name for your salon but this doesn't happen over night. Especially in recessions, people can go without an expensive haircut. Being a nurse is much more stable, people will always be sick, and will always spend money on healthcare. Good luck!
