career directions? United Kingdom?

I am in the UK and struggling with careers and jobs.

I did hairdressing NVQ level 1 at college for first year of college. I left because I felt like I wasn't good at it and I was treated badly by the staff at any salon I worked at.

Now, I am doing Media, however I have no passion for the subject. I don't enjoy it.

I really need job, I have no money and I am bored most days. I don't have many friends really and I am always broke. I have generalised anxiety and I want to get better and find something cool to do.

Theres a salon where someone I know works and I have had my hair done there a couple of times too. The staff their are lovley compared to anywhere else I have seen. Should I do an apprenticeship in hairdressing and ask if they have anything going?

I'd love to be better at doing hair and I love looking good, I am,just scared of being too rubbish.

vocations abroad are really an exciting thought, but you have to be really watchful of the legislative implications, if you don't effect your research well, there can be unpleasant conseqences! The site in the box below has plenty of tips on vocations abroad, my pal uncovered it, now he is a barman in Tasmania!
